Approach to Care

My approach to patient care is rooted in a commitment to individualized, patient-centered treatment. I take the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and specific needs, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to optimize their function and quality of life. Whether treating athletes striving to return to competition or individuals looking to stay active without pain, my focus is always on finding the best path forward for each patient.

I strongly believe in exhausting nonoperative treatment options before considering surgery. This includes evidence-based rehabilitation, physical therapy, non-steroidal anti-inflammtories, activity modification, and targeted injections when appropriate. By working closely with physical therapists and other specialists, I aim to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence without invasive procedures whenever possible. Surgery is only recommended when patients have persistent symptoms that do not improve with conservative treatments.

When surgery is indicated, my emphasis is on minimally invasive, arthroscopic techniques that allow for faster recovery, reduced pain, and improved long-term outcomes. I specialize in advanced arthroscopic procedures, utilizing the latest surgical innovations to restore function while minimizing disruption to surrounding tissues. My goal is to help patients return to their active lifestyles safely and efficiently, with a clear plan for postoperative rehabilitation and long-term joint health.
